Die Google Analytics sind wieder BETA!


Wie es aussieht, rollt Google im Moment ein komplettes Redesign der gesamten Google Analytics Anwendung aus. Da ich auch Zugriff auf den namics Account habe sehe ich, dass das Update noch nicht auf allen Account ausgeführt ist.

In der Site-Übersicht sieht man wenn es soweit ist pro Site jeweils einen Link auf die neue Beta-Version.



In der Applikation hat sich ALLES geändert. Ist man sich an das alte Layout und die Platzierung der Funktionen gewohnt, findet man nichts mehr. Und Gemeinsamkeiten mit der alten Version von damals Urchin gibt es auch keine mehr. Vielleicht trägt ja hier der Kauf von MeasureMap Früchte, die Charts sehen auf jeden Fall extrem schön aus.
Neben den User Interface Änderungen scheinen mir auf den ersten Blick die Email-Notifications und die PDF Exporte die grössten Neuerungen.

We redesigned Google Analytics because we heard feedback from users who wanted more navigable reporting, as well as better data presentation and sharing options. We agreed. We also wanted to remove the bottlenecks businesses had on finding, sharing, and acting on the data within Google Analytics, adding top level summaries and emailing of reports, among other features. Since we are constantly looking for ways to refine Google Analytics, we felt that the time was right for a new version.

The Google Analytics user interface has been redesigned to make it easier for people to find and share the data they need to make informed decisions. Data summaries and improved trending analyses complement navigational clarity and intuitive connections among related data. It's easier to click on data points to drill down into the reports for greater detail. In addition to creating an improved user interface, new key features have been added, such as email reports functionality, exporting into PDF, and geo-map drill down to zoom into a certain location.
There have been no changes to the amount of data that is tracked by Google Analytics, or to the configuration of your account. This is solely a reporting interface change. Every function currently available in Google Analytics should be available in the new interface. In fact, there will be more features and the new product will be even more powerful, including emailing reports and PDF download.
